There’s A Deadly Killer Among Us By Dr. Benjamin Okeagu

Perhaps you heard the news…There is a DEADLY KILLER among us.
No, this is not a killer with guns and knives.

It is a bacterium.

A very dangerous mutant strain that has become resistant to antibiotics!

If you have never heard of "Community-acquired Methocillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus" (CA-MRSA), then you have not been paying attention.
It was on every TV and radio network, Katie Couric, CBS News, Fox News, Cavoto Report, etc. It was in all the local and national publications.

MRSA kills an estimated 100,000 people a year. This year it was responsible for bringing schools to a screeching halt from Vermont to Florida, and blamed for the deaths of many people nationwide. In fact, some experts are saying that the number of deaths from MRSA may someday surpass that from AIDS.

This is a deadly and scary stuff!

One can be healthy in the morning, and dead from this infection later that day.
This bacteria, which begins with a simple "spider bite" looking lesion, can bring life to a frightening end in 12 to 48 hours. A simple handshake can make one vulnerable to these bacteria which enter through any opening in the skin.

Here is a website where you can learn more about these deadly bacteria.

So what’s one to do in order to be protected?

Basic hygiene can never be over-emphasized of course.

And then, there is the marvel of garlic. In 1998, a team of researchers in the UK successfully liberated, stabilized, and made available commercially, a very effective, natural antibiotic called Allicin, a derivative of garlic. The result of nearly 80 years of research, Allicin is a superior formulation with an active ingredient that is incredibly potent. Today, Allicin is marketed by The Garlic Centre, located in East Sussex, England. In the UK, Allicin is actually used in National Healthcare Centers (hospitals), as an effective treatment against MRSA, because Allicin KILLS MRSA!

Liberty Health Net (LHN), an American company, has recently introduced Alligin, which combines Allicin with Ginger, another natural antibiotic with a history going back to the 1500s. Alligin is formulated by the Garlic Centre exclusively for LHN.

Never heard of Alligin?

That’s probably because LHN makes this product available exclusively to
and through a tightly-knit network of member-associates. Becoming a
member-associate is a simple matter of completing a short enrollment form
that can be found on their site.

You can learn more about Alligin and MRSA by listening to this interview
granted by an expert from the Garlic Center on his recent trip to the
United States:

It is my hope that this information will prove useful to you
as you strive to protect your family. I’d certainly recommend
sharing it with your loved ones.

The four sure-fire traits of highly successful people.

Success comes in a variety of ways. A lucky few,
bred with the proverbial silver spoon in their
mouths, have success thrust on them by heritage.
The greater majority achieves it the
old-fashioned way, through "sweat, blood, and
tears." Ever noticed something unique about the
latter group? Observe carefully and you'll find
the following four distinctly defining traits:

Business Ownership: Most successful people have
their own business. The popular saying that you
cannot get rich working for somebody else is true
today more than ever. A recent survey puts the
proportion of authentic business ownership at
only 5%. Granted that entrepreneurial trend is
reported to have reached an unprecedented peak in
this generation, still far too many new
businesses are of the fleeting kind and the
survey refers only to abiding business ownership.
With business ownership estimated at only 5%, it
means that the rest of us are

content with our "jobs" mentality and with
faithfully enriching the already bulging coffers
of a select few. Consider this fact the next time
you hear how the economy is booming, and how many
more new jobs it has created. An outstanding 95%
of us provide the impetus for that boom.

They offer a good product/service: Find a need
and fill it, and your success is assured. One of
the greatest difficulties in starting a business
is determining a need to meet. The typical
consumer's needs run the gamut from desired
products to services of different variety. A good
product/service is one that is brimming with
customer benefits. These benefits may take the
form of saving people money and time, or helping
them stay healthy, youthful, and vibrant. It is
not hard to think of examples that fit these
categories. Why do you suppose, for instance,
that e-commerce has soared to such incredible
heights so quickly? Because it offers stress-free
shopping from the comfort of the prospect's home,
a welcome relief from our much-harried
lifestyles. What about those ubiquitous
nutritional supplements? They too, promise
something people crave health, youthfulness,
and longevity. The thing to remember though, is
that promises alone are not enough to foster
success. To truly succeed, you must deliver them.

They yearn to help others succeed: Ray Kroc
revolutionized this idea and in time others
followed. I'm referring to the idea that success
is more quickly attained by helping others
succeed. Look around you today, and you'll find a
McDonalds on just about every block, because that
man hit upon the notion of setting up franchises
as a way of inviting others to share his good
fortune. Notice too, that the businesses that
succeed the most are those that have embraced
aspects, if not the whole, of Ray's model. I
recently read an interview by Tom Monaghan where
he credited precisely such a model with the bulk
of his success. Much contemporary network
marketing philosophy is an offspring of this
model. My grade school teacher used to say: "One
good turn deserves another." The evidence is
compelling.successful people have discovered the
immutable secret that one good turn does not
merely deserve another.it strides forth boldly
and invites another!

They dare to dream: The Bible's Book of Proverbs,
acknowledged by many as the repository of
profound wisdom, has this to say: "Without
vision, the people perish." Without a dream and
the insight to visualize your dream, most
business endeavors falter and success stays
elusive. As a poor young boy, Tom Monaghan's
dream was to become wealthy so he could invest
significant resources on his passion for
religion. Guess what.his dream came true, just as
he had visualized it! Not very long ago, Tom
decided he he'd had enough of the trappings of
wealth and sold his interests in Dominos Pizza,
pledging his time and vast fortunes to the
Catholic Church.

Of immense significance in making dreams come
true is faith, easily the most potent ingredient
necessary to nourish dreams. Faith is of course
the confident assurance that the ends we desire
are inevitable. Faith emboldens us to picture
those ends vividly in our minds' eyes, long
before they become real. In the absence of faith,
dreams remain a mere fantasy, a wistful, idyllic
longing for the things that can be. Faith gets a
hold of our dreams and unleashes an
action-producing force that transforms them from
fantasy to concrete reality. Throughout human
history,

various sages have emerged to point us to the
incredible power of faith.

"If you can believe, all things are possible to
him that believes."

With those words, the good master himself
attempted to launch us on a great excursion
through faith. How often have we said to
ourselves: "I will believe it when I see it?"
Motivational writer/speaker, Dwayne Dwyer says
we've got it all wrong. "You will see it", he
insists, "when you believe it!"

Want to become successful? Start your own
business. Offer a good product or service with
customer satisfaction at the core. Help others
succeed. Build a dream, and dare to believe in
that dream.

Write Queen Wonders Why Is It

Freda Douglas had an autobiographical-history book “Cherish the Past” published in 2002, has her second book of fiction “Winds of Change” ready for the printer and has her third book on the front burner. She also wrote a weekly personal essay column for 17 years for her local newspaper Freda lives alone with her cat Jewely and loves to hear from her readers.

Write Queen Wonders Why Is It

I am not what some people would call a zealous fanatical Christian, but I am a Christian and the lack of religion or Christianity in our country bothers me, now as I get older even more

Years ago my husband and I owned a pizza shop which I managed. We were closed Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Otherwise we were open seven days a week. Sunday we didn’t
open until four in the afternoon, but we were still open on Sunday. My husband and I didn’t argue about much, but had our share of arguments about opening on Sunday.

We didn’t have much spare time for ‘fun’ but in the summer we took our RV down to Kennerdell where we set up a camp for the season. As often as we could we escaped to our camp. When I say escape that was literally true because that was before cell phones.

This one particular weekend we had escaped on Saturday. Sunday I told my husband we had to break camp early because I had to open the shop at four. He asked me what for? I replied that when the help didn’t work, the boss had to.

That was the last Sunday Rollie’s Pizza Shop was ever opened. You know what? We made more money in six days than we ever did in seven. Why? Of course overhead was cut, but I have always believed it was because we were obeying our teachings by resting on the seventh day and/or our customers, protestant, catholic and Jewish, respected us for our decision.

That happened to us back in the 70s. What has that got to do with today? I have a friend who drives a delivery truck for a reputable firm. How often does he get to go to church with his family? Not often. Why? The company makes deliveries on Sunday. They can not make deliveries on their schedule because most of the customers go to church so the company only has certain times to find the customer at home. #1 why do the customers have to have a Sunday delivery if they’re going to be in Church and they won’t use the delivered goods in church and #2 doesn’t the company realize they’d be more respected if they honored the Lord’s Day?

I know times have changed, but when I was growing up in a small western Pennsylvania town there was NOTHING open on Sunday. Mother did her grocery shopping on Saturday. If Daddy needed gas, which wasn’t likely because we walked to church, school and work, he filled the car
on Saturday.

I realize I grew up in a better day, but I don’t seem to have suffered for it. If the thinking Christian would think about the ruination of the values we are all suffering, they could, one by one, do something about it. Do you drop off your kids for Sunday school, or do you take them? Do you go to church as a family, or don’t any of you even go to church? Would you housewives be willing to grocery shop on Saturday?

I realize industry would cease if certain people, like firemen, nurses, EMTs and such, didn’t work on Sunday, but bear this in mind “The family that prays together, stays together.”

Remember, God loves you, and so do I.

Do You Have a Health Challenge?

Freda Douglas had an autobiographical-history book "Cherish the
Past" published in 2002, has her second book of fiction "Winds of
Change" ready for the printer and has her third book on the front
burner. She also wrote a weekly personal essay column for 17
years.. Freda lives alone with her cat Jewely and loves to hear
from her readers

I started network marketing in the mid 1980's, We did rather well
with it. Looking back, though, over the years, the methods were
archaic and not conducive to increasing your residual income.

My husband and I went to all the meetings which were weekly at
the time, but that soon became detrimental to my husband's
health. The meetings were held in hotels. While there was no
smoking allowed in the meeting room, in order to get to the
meeting room a person had to go through the lobby where smoking
was allowed and you were subjected to smoke. My husband was very
allergic to smoke.

I kept on in the business for a while, after my husband had to
stop attending meetings, but soon realized it was no fun by
myself even though I had built relationships, but relationships
did not take the place of my husband,

After leaving that business I dabbled in other businesses, but
soon learned my sponsors were interested in just two things -
collecting a residual check from my purchases and promoting their
'other' businesses.

I had been in and out of more NWM businesses than I could
remember when my husband and I bought our own therapeutic
business in 1999. We operated that as a telephone business, doing
everything by ourselves. We were quite successful with that
business until my husband was diagnosed with cancer and died just
weeks following diagnosis.

I tried to carry on following his death but was unable to
emotionally so I ran a ½ price sell, sold my stock and closed my
business.

Three years later, during which time I did nothing except read
and sleep, I was invited to join Xango, a brand new nutritional
company with one nutritional consumable product. Against my
better judgment I decided to join after my sponsor-to-be sent me
a bottle of mangosteen juice to try, and, even though the doctor
had to give me cold medicine in pill form because I hated liquids
so much, I actually liked the taste of mangosteen juice.

That year 2004 I went to convention in SLC. While there I met my
upline, the corporate team and I learned two basic things.
People in Xango don't care whose group you're in. If they can
help you, they will. The other thing I learned is Xango is a
company of people helping people.

Fast forward three years. I have been taking six ounces of
mangosteen juice a day. I have osteoarthritis of the neck,
fibromyalgia and myalgia and no longer take pain pills. The
doctor cut my cholesterol medication by half.

Many years ago I had rectal surgery that left me in need of a
stool softener which I no longer use. The best result I have had?
I am 74 years young, and for the first time I have fingernails.

Now I can't tell you what, if anything, mangosteen juice will do
for you. I can only suggest you try it on faith like I did three
years ago. I know I am passionate about my products and the
ability to share it with people who have a health challenge.

Do you have a health challenge? Call me. Maybe I can help.

Fear of Free

Fear of Free
Copyright 2006 by Rosie Taveras

In today's world we've learned that 'there's no such thing as a FREE lunch'.
Although I am very much a believer of this myself, I do think that we've
grown so fearful of 'the catch' that comes with a free product or service
that we quite often miss out on some great free stuff.

Here's a little story to illustrate my point.
A few years ago I was working at a Dunkin' Donuts where a few crates of
apples were mistakenly sent to us, since the manager had all these extra
free apples he decided to give them to all the customers that made a
purchase at no extra charge. It seemed to us that it would be a nice gesture
and we began our day cheerily giving away the free apples. As the day went
on, nearly every customer asked why they were getting the apple, a few were
happy, some left the apple with no explanation; others asked if they were
rotten, many insisted that they must have been charged extra for it, and
almost everyone wanted to know what was 'the catch'. At the end of the day
we found ourselves exhausted and hoping that we never get another crate of
free apples again.

Was there 'a catch'?

Yes, there were several:
1- We had hundreds of perfectly good apples that we had gotten for free
taking up valuable space and wanted to get rid of them.
2- The manager wanted the customers to get a sense of added value to their
purchase, so that they may return to establishment.
3- We didn't want hundreds of apples to go to waste by throwing them out.

As you can see 'the catch' that most customers feared was actually a good
one. This happens quite often in the online world. Free services abound and
we often bypass them because if it's free it must not work, there must be 'a
catch', there will probably be a charge later on. While this may be true for
most offers, it can't be true for all of them.

So what can we do to take the fear out of free?

1- Read the program terms/fine print, businesses are legally obligated to
disclose all the so called 'catches' in one of these forms.
2- Determine whether you really need what is being offered.
3- Test the effectiveness of the service/product.
4- Set reminders via calendars, planners, etc. of expiration dates or
deadlines for trial services. On said date determine whether it is worth the
cost or not.
5- Most importantly, use common sense, if it seems too good to be true,
Google it. More often than not it really will be. Still, once in a while you
may get a pleasant & free surprise.

So go out there and take advantage of all the free stuff that is available
to you, and make free fun again.

"How to Explode Your Online Sales"

The Headline is the life and soul of not just your site, but
your entire business. It is the one thing a visitor sees
when they first land on your page, but it should be the one
thing that keeps them ON your page. Find out how to write a
Killer Headline!

If you want to be successful online, there's one thing that
you need to spend more time on than anything else.

It's more important than flashy graphics, more vital than
amazing ad copy, more necessary than huge bonus offers.

"What is it?" I hear you ask ... Your HEADLINE!

Your headline is the heart and soul of not just your site,
but your ENTIRE business.

It is the first thing that people see when they visit your
site, so it should be the one thing that keeps them ON your
site!

Successful online entrepreneurs know the secret to a great
headline. Simply tweaking an existing headline can improve
sales by more than 624%.

Plain and simple, it can mean the difference between
success and failure.

So just how do YOU write a "Killer Headline"?

There are simple formulas you can use to skyrocket your
website response changing only your headline.

-- Make a clear, yet BOLD statement.

Take the following headlines:
"You will lose lots of weight with our new pill" and
"Shed 25lbs in just 25 days with our Amazing New diet-pill"

Which do you think is the more effective? Of course it's
the second one. It has a bold statement with a well defined
benefit for the user.

-- Use Power words

Take the above example. Simply using words like "Shed" and
"Amazing" will create a sense of emotion in the reader.
They will become intrigued by the words, enticed to read
on. The effect is almost Hypnotic. Other Power words such
as "Discover, build, secret, learn, fast, sell" all
encourage the reader to stay on your page and read more of
your carefully crafted sales letter.

-- Ask the reader a question.

"How would you like to make $3,564 a month from home?"
Asking a question engages the reader in a more personal
manner. They are no longer just reading your sales pitch,
but they are stopping to ponder on your question. They
wonder, would they really like to make $3,564 a month...
You betcha! You've just wet their appetite, they'll have to
keep reading to find out more!

So now you have an idea of how to formulate your headline,
but there are still a few points to remember to make sure
you don't undo all that hard work.

-- DON'T make your headline too long.

All the power words and questions wont mean a thing if your
visitors get bored half way through. For that reason, keep
your headline, short and to the point. Give them just
enough to want more - that's when your sales copy takes
over.

-- DON'T leave out benefits for the reader. If you want
people to listen to you, then you need to understand this
fundamental rule about the human race...

We (that includes me!) will only be interested if we feel
that there is something for us at the end of it. It's a
commonly (though surprisingly little known) technique of
addressing the "What's In It For Me?" factor. Tell the
reader how it will help them and they'll have to read more.

-- Imagine that the headline is the only thing they will
see and that you have to convey your point there and then.
Many people rely on lots of long sales copy, with bulleted
points and raving testimonials, but this is worthless
unless you can grab the reader from the start. Think of an
email. If you want someone to read your email, you have to
make your headline scream "Open Me" without the reader even
seeing the rest of the contents. Treat your site just the
same, make your headline scream "Read ME!"

To sum up..

If your site is not pulling well, the first thing you
should look at is your headline. The greatest sales pitch
in the world wont mean a thing without the greatest
headline to go with it. Visit other sites too. If they get
you reading on and on without realising it, stop and go
back to their headline to see how they did it.

Pretty soon, you'also be able to "Explode your Online
Sales"

Do You Have Your Vision?

I am assuming you have your online business set on a solid
foundation, you have long term and short term goals written out,
you have your budget and advertising set.

But do you have Vision?

This isn't anything you need to write out. Vision is in your
heart. Your personal plan. What drives you to be here? What are
your dreams? Your Vision is you getting up close and personal
with the "why", "where" "who" and "what" of your business.

Let's go deeper....

Your Vision is images and values you want for you business and
tying it all into a package that becomes a life choice for you.

It is the intimate reason you do what you do. Find your purpose
and passion, then build your business and your life around
that. Let your business become a part of your life...not your
life become your business. Find your balance!

This is just a tiny part of your Vision.

Things change with your business, for example on a road trip
even with a map you run into detours, roadblocks even a break
down at times. Having a vision does it help you continue in the
direction your purpose is in.

If you break it down into parts and look at each one then put
it all together you end up with a sort of life plan for you
business.

Ask yourself:

1. Why do I want to do this business?

Let's say you want to put your kids through college. So your
Vision will be you sitting in the audience at graduation and
hearing your childs name called and they walk across the stage
to get their diploma. You are very proud of their
accomplishment and know YOUR VISION is the reason they got to
college. You can close your eyes and SEE and FEEL the emotions
you and your family have on that wonderful day!

Your Vision is what your heart is telling you IS POSSIBLE!

2. Where do you see your business going?

Not today or tomorrow but way in the future when you are very
successful. Do you see yourself hiring assistants? Do you see
yourself moving into a swanky office building? Whatever is your
personal Vision...see it, feel it, close your eyes and imagine
yourself extremely successful.

3. What is the personal payoff going to be?

Will you take your dream vacation? Write a book? Go on Oprah?
What is your personal "pot of gold"? What does your "what" look
like? Visualize it!

4. Who is your perfect customer?

Visualize your perfect customer. Is it a stay-at-home Mom? She
wears jeans and has bunny slippers, drives a mini-van, has a dog
and a cat. Maybe your perfect customer is a business person who
wears suits and drives a Lexis and wears a Rolex.

Your Vision is fluid...not written in stone....your Vision
changes as your business changes...but you will always be on the
same path. Your Vision will help you define your purpose and
passion and bring that into the way you live life.

Lastly, add the images and values you want to bring to your
business. How do you want to be known? How do you want the
public to see you? What do you stand for? Be sincere and make
it count. Do things for the right reasons.

Your Vision once you step into it and start living it instead
of focusing on the day to day, brings balance to your life. It
becomes part of who you are. A business need to be productive
and work well in your life by having a vision you are more
likely to reach your goals, and end up with the business of
your dreams.

What Price Are You Willing To Pay For Success?

I'm not talking about money, I'm talking about your self worth.

Waging a campaign to hurt or discredit others will only bring
discredit to your dignity. Trying to build yourself up by
slandering others will only show you do not have class and it is
very unprofessional.

Negativity towards your competition is unhealthy. Spend your
time bettering your business and not trying to belittle and tear
down your competition.

This is the Internet and there are competitive businesses here.
We are all working for the same common goal. No one "owns"
property or people. We have many choices...and are free to make
those choices.

It doesn't look good when you express to others that you desire
the failure of your competition, that your business will succeed
more if your competition fails. It's counter-productive to wish
for things to get worse, just so you can make your case or
improve your position.

Get rid of your negative thoughts and replace them with positive
thoughts. Spend your time and energy building your own business
and less time worrying about what your competition is doing.

Do you want to build your business on your own merit or by the
failure of others?
