I started network marketing in the mid 1980's, We did rather well
with it. Looking back, though, over the years, the methods were
archaic and not conducive to increasing your residual income.
My husband and I went to all the meetings which were weekly at
the time, but that soon became detrimental to my husband's
health. The meetings were held in hotels. While there was no
smoking allowed in the meeting room, in order to get to the
meeting room a person had to go through the lobby where smoking
was allowed and you were subjected to smoke. My husband was very
allergic to smoke.
I kept on in the business for a while, after my husband had to
stop attending meetings, but soon realized it was no fun by
myself even though I had built relationships, but relationships
did not take the place of my husband,
After leaving that business I dabbled in other businesses, but
soon learned my sponsors were interested in just two things -
collecting a residual check from my purchases and promoting their
'other' businesses.
I had been in and out of more NWM businesses than I could
remember when my husband and I bought our own therapeutic
business in 1999. We operated that as a telephone business, doing
everything by ourselves. We were quite successful with that
business until my husband was diagnosed with cancer and died just
weeks following diagnosis.
I tried to carry on following his death but was unable to
emotionally so I ran a ½ price sell, sold my stock and closed my
business.
Three years later, during which time I did nothing except read
and sleep, I was invited to join Xango, a brand new nutritional
company with one nutritional consumable product. Against my
better judgment I decided to join after my sponsor-to-be sent me
a bottle of mangosteen juice to try, and, even though the doctor
had to give me cold medicine in pill form because I hated liquids
so much, I actually liked the taste of mangosteen juice.
That year 2004 I went to convention in SLC. While there I met my
upline, the corporate team and I learned two basic things.
People in Xango don't care whose group you're in. If they can
help you, they will. The other thing I learned is Xango is a
company of people helping people.
Fast forward three years. I have been taking six ounces of
mangosteen juice a day. I have osteoarthritis of the neck,
fibromyalgia and myalgia and no longer take pain pills. The
doctor cut my cholesterol medication by half.
Many years ago I had rectal surgery that left me in need of a
stool softener which I no longer use. The best result I have had?
I am 74 years young, and for the first time I have fingernails.
Now I can't tell you what, if anything, mangosteen juice will do
for you. I can only suggest you try it on faith like I did three
years ago. I know I am passionate about my products and the
ability to share it with people who have a health challenge.
Do you have a health challenge? Call me. Maybe I can help.
